Child Safety Standards

DiiL has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards apply to everyone who uses DiiL.

Who we are

  • App: DiiL, a messenger with personal and group chats, voice and video calls, and mini apps.
  • Developer: DIGITAL IT ADVISOR COMPANY LIMITED, a company registered in Thailand.

These standards are part of our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

What is prohibited

Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) are strictly prohibited in DiiL. This applies to messages, photos, videos, files, voice messages, calls, profiles, groups and mini apps. It includes:

  • any material that shows or describes the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of a child, including drawings, cartoons and AI-generated or edited images;
  • sharing, requesting, selling, trading or linking to such material, for any reason, including "as a joke" or to condemn it;
  • grooming: building contact with a child in order to sexually abuse or exploit them;
  • sexualised contact with children, and sexualising children in any way;
  • sextortion: threatening a child or obtaining intimate images from them;
  • trafficking of children or advertising children for sexual purposes;
  • any attempt to use DiiL to find, contact or harm children.

In these standards, a child is anyone under 18.

Age requirement

DiiL is only for people aged 18 or over. Children may not create or use an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it. If you believe a child is using DiiL, report the account in the app or tell us through the support form.

How to report in the app

Report anything that may involve child sexual abuse or exploitation directly in DiiL. Choose the reason Inappropriate content.

  • A message: touch and hold the message, then tap Report.
  • A user: open your chat with them, tap their name at the top, tap Edit, then Report user.
  • A group: open the group, tap the ⋯ menu, then Report group.
  • A mini app: in the open mini app, tap ⋯, then Report.

You can also write to us in Profile → Support and choose the topic Report abuse.

We never tell the reported person who reported them. Do not forward, save or share the material, even to report it: the report in the app already gives our moderators a copy of the reported messages.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first. You can also report child sexual exploitation directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline.

What we do

Our moderators review reports of child sexual abuse and exploitation as a priority, and act within 24 hours. When we find a violation, we:

  • remove the content;
  • permanently ban the accounts involved, and remove any mini app involved from DiiL;
  • report the case to the relevant law enforcement authorities and, where applicable, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and preserve the information required for the report as the law requires;
  • respond to lawful requests from law enforcement in such cases.

Moderators review only the messages included in a report.
